THE OLD TURBOS: KI128, KI129, KI130

Kokeln is proud to have developed the first aftermarket turbo specifically designed for installation on the 911 Turbo without the need for custom adaptors. The turbo is a 100% bolt-in unit. Custom castings are designed to utilize the stock O-ring for the intercooler down pipe on the compressor housing. The turbine housing flanges allow for a direct installation to the factory exhaust manifold and muffler. The Kokeln 911 turbo is designed to provide a broad power range as well as quick spool times. We have hundreds hours of research on the dyno, on the track and on the street. Our housing and wheel combinations provide the best performance for any application and motor build. The turbos are completely upgradeable and can be ordered with standard sintered bronze bearings or with ceramic ball bearings as an option.

The Kokeln Turbo, in combination with a boost adjustment to 1.0 BAR, produces more than 80 hp over the stock turbo. The boost comes on faster than both the stock turbo and the K27 and while the K27 has a 300-rpm range over 350 ft-lbs., the Kokeln turbo range is over 1000 rpm.

The vehicle used for testing was a stock 1986 911 Turbo with 65,748 miles. A U.S. spec muffler with catalyst was retained during testing and all runs were in third gear. The outside ambient temperature was 86.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Kokeln Turbo fits 911 turbos from 76-94. The kit is supplied with the turbo, oil feed line, new studs, copper nuts and gaskets.
